She has a TX now, which is starting to die on the hardware side.  Besides Epocrates, she uses UpToDate.  Firstly, UpToDate is not yet available for the Touch. UpToDate requires an SD card on the TX(loaded first on the PC then inserted into the TX and sync'd).  Secondly, I'm concerned that the Touch limits PIM data to 500MB, so I've read.  I assume this means that the rest of the memory is for media, as this is the intent of the device.  Can you tell me if I'm right about this?  In fact, this is what keeps me from getting one for myself (that and no copy/cut/paste yet). Mobile me offers you great functionality and versatility. I can synchro my iphone, macbook and work PC anywhere because of the app. You can edit and upload files anywhere you have access to net. Also, since you have ipod touch, you can download a lot of great apps which u can synchro with your home pc. You can make changes to your sched, set up appt, record daily finances, do online banking and most importantly for us med profs you can take advantage of the many free med apps. You can also edit Microsoft Excel files with it. It's only a couple bucks and pretty cool. You might want to check it out.
