Support LUISA project Advocacy for patients with Systemic Lupus Erythematosus

The LUISA project or Lupus Inspired Advocacy is an organization dedicated to the support and information dissemination of patients who have the condition known as Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE).

SLE affects many organs of the body that lead to debilitating conditions that is carried through out their lifetime. It impairs the individual in their function.

During the PRA convention that I attended, I happen to visit their booth and have known the people behind the organization. It is then I realized that they have very minimal exposure to the general public. So through this present Blog I do hope that you try to see their organization at www.luisaproject.org

If you plan to support the organization in their research and patients afflicted with the condition, they sell greeting cards that is beautifully cross stitched by one of their members who has the condition. It is specially printed as shown

"Madonna and Child" - cross stitch creation by the deformed,
rheumatoid arthritic hands of Eloisa Aguinaldo

"Madame Butterfly " - oil in canvas by renowned artist Ben C. Francisco

Visit their website and share your blessings to the organization who supports the ones in need.

Another website to visit is www.lupus.ph that gives more information on the condition.

Blog out.
